When AI personalization is used in your campaign sequence, Ornn holds each generated message in a Proposed state before sending it. This gives you the chance to review, refine, or approve every message before it reaches a lead.

You can find proposed messages by filtering your leads table to Proposed. Once you open a lead's message, you have six options available to you.

ℹ️Proposed messages only exist when AI personalization is active. If a campaign uses only a plain message template with no AI prompt, messages are sent immediately without any review step.

🔄Regenerate

Rewrite the message from scratch using the current AI prompt

Clicking Regenerate discards the current proposed message and uses your campaign's AI prompt to craft a brand new one for this lead.

This is especially useful if you have updated your campaign's AI prompt since the message was originally generated. Regenerating will pick up the latest prompt and produce a fresh message that reflects your new instructions, rather than being stuck with one based on outdated guidance.

✏️Edit

Manually rewrite the message yourself

Clicking Edit makes the message bubble directly editable. You can type freely, rephrase sections, adjust the tone, or add specific details that the AI may have missed. This option gives you complete control over the final wording before the message goes out.

💬Describe Changes

Tell the AI what to change and let it rewrite for you

Rather than editing the message manually, you can describe what you want to be different and Ornn's AI will rewrite it accordingly. For example:

"Make it shorter and less formal. Lead with a question instead of a statement."

This is a middle ground between full manual editing and a complete regeneration. The AI keeps the core of the original message but adjusts it based on your description.

Send Message

Approve and queue the message to be sent

When you are happy with the message, clicking Send Message approves it and queues it to be delivered to the lead the next time your campaign's automation runs.

The lead's status will update to reflect that a message is queued and ready to go out.

↩️Unsend Message

Remove the message from the send queue

If you have already queued a message using Send Message but have changed your mind, clicking Unsend Message removes it from the queue before it gets delivered.

The message is not deleted and the lead returns to a Proposed state, so you can continue editing or choose a different action.
